Flourish Wayfinding

Express
yourself!
"We have art so we shall not die of
reality." - Friedrich Nietzsche
"The music was my friend, my lover,
my family." - Maya Angelou
You don’t have to be an “artist” to make mud pies, roll out the crayons, splatter paint or smash tiles with a hammer.
And you don’t have to be a “musician” to howl at the moon, bang on a guitar or express your experience through your voice or through writing. It’s all about releasing whatever is within your mind, your heart, your soul and allowing that to flow in full creative expression. I would be tickled pink to support you in that freedom!
If you already are an experienced musician or artist but feel blocked or want more out of what you’re doing, I’d be happy to support you in that too!
Creative Catharsis
Just like a baby born out of the soft, wet, darkness of the womb, so can creativity be born out of the raw, soft vulnerability of heartache and darkness brought about by difficult times and loss. When I was grieving or ill, creative expression nourished my heart, soothed my soul and lit up my spirits. It's SO freeing! Being deeply present in the moment while creating seems to over-ride anything else. The left brain simply can't compete with the right. I continue to create for catharsis because life is all about ebb and flow, light and dark. I also create simply for the joy of it!

Art does not have to be beautiful!
The real beauty of it lies in how we feel during and after the creative process, be it peace, excitement, fulfillment, delight, a sense of release…and so on.
